i haven't replaced one, but i pulled one out smile..i'd send you mine but i pulled it apart by accident trying to get it through the firewall. you can get em at junkyards for practically nothing, and all you do is run it through the hole in the firewall, and then there's a little clip on the tranny where it goes in and holds it on. be careful not to drop the clip into the tranny though..

I have a similar problem. When i was pulling old engine, i was pulling the cable out and it pulled loose for the fire wall side!? now can i just slip it back through the firewall and reuse it? or do i have to buy a new one...??

i'm pretty sure you can get to it..might be tough. if you stand on the passenger side and look down under the intake manifold you'll be able to see it..look near the rear bracket on the tranny side.
